The Premier League resumes this Easter weekend after the international break and Liverpool will be looking to continue their title challenge as we enter the home straight of the season.

Jurgen Klopp’s Reds face Roberto de Zerbi’s Brighton at Anfield knowing a win would at least temporarily put them back on top of the table ahead of Manchester City playing Arsenal later in the day.

The sides played out a 2-2 draw in the reverse fixture at The Amex Stadium back in October.

There could be a few goals in this one, with Liverpool only keeping 1 clean sheet in their last 11 games in all competitions at home, yet they have scored in all but one of their 23 games at Anfield this season (96%).

Meanwhile The Seagulls have just 2 clean sheets in their last 12 matches on the road in all competitions but have scored in 10 out of 14 Premier League games away from home so far (71%).

Both teams to score has landed in 64% of Liverpool’s league matches at Anfield and 64% in Brighton’s league fixtures on the road, so it’s more than likely this could happen again by full-time Sunday afternoon.

The graphic below shows Brighton ranked 2nd and Liverpool 6th in terms of how many games so far this campaign both teams to score has come in.

Klopp’s men have been in sensational form at Anfield this campaign and are undefeated, winning 11 and drawing 3 of their 14 league games there.

The graphic below shows Liverpool top of the home table, with an average points per game of 2.57 and scoring a whopping 38 goals in the process.

Brighton have lost 7 of their 14 away games this term and have conceded 28 goals during these matches, an average of 2 goals per game.

888 Sport are offering 2.85 on both teams to score and Liverpool to win and Under 6.5 goals and the statistics indicate this could well pay off as Liverpool look to pile on the pressure on both Arsenal and Manchester City at the top of the Premier League.
