Two heavyweights of the competition collide this Sunday as 12 time FA Cup winners Manchester United take on 8 time winners Liverpool at Old Trafford.

The Reds last won the competition in 2022 and The Red Devils last lifted the trophy back in 2016, but it’s Liverpool who look the more likely team to progress to the semi-finals.

Under fire boss Erik ten Hag will be desperate to bring another trophy to United this season in what is their only remaining chance of silverware. Meanwhile Jurgen Klopp and Liverpool are pursuing the quadruple in Klopp’s farewell season, having already secured the League Cup last month.

William Hill are offering 4.80 on half time/full time Liverpool/ Liverpool and against a United side who have been trailing in 7 of their 14 home league games so far this campaign, Klopp’s men might just add to this statistic come Sunday.

The graphic below shows Manchester United trailing at half time in 50% of their home games in the league this term, the joint 2nd worst record out of all teams.

In contrast Liverpool have scored in every single away game this season and have the 3rd best away record in the league, averaging 2 points per game on the road.

Furthermore, they have also lost just twice in the last 12 matches with United and current form could suggest they will notch another victory against their rivals on Sunday.

Mo Salah has scored 12 times in 13 games against United, the most of any side he has faced and The Egyptian will be looking to add to his tally in this one.

Unibet are offering 2.4 on him doing just that and after returning from injury with two substitute appearances in the last two games, Salah is set to start at Old Trafford.

Salah has netted 19 times in all competitions so far this campaign and is Liverpool’s top scorer and it wouldn’t be a surprise at all if he bags another goal against The Red Devils here.
